Do you want to support your Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients to improve their financial wellbeing?
If you are employed by a community organisation you may be eligible to attend free MoneyBusiness Coach Training.
MoneyBusiness Coach Training is free, delivered in person, over two days and will ensure participants have the skills and resources to provide financial literacy/capability to Indigenous clients in their programs.
MoneyBusiness is a flexible adult financial education program designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. The program builds knowledge, confidence and skills to help people make informed decisions and manage their money.
MoneyBusiness Coach Training is designed to prepare you to assist Indigenous Australians to build their money skills, knowledge and confidence.
The MoneyBusiness Coach Training and resources provided are free and training is delivered face-to-face in your region.
The two day training for coaches cover a range of topics you can explore with your clients including:
- Making the money last until payday
- Setting goals
- Banking options
- Money loans
- Managing paperwork
ANZ owns and developed MoneyBusiness in partnership with the Australian Government in 2005. The program is delivered in partnership with ICAN and funded/supported by the Australian Government Department of Social Services. MoneyBusiness does not directly promote ANZ products and provides unbiased consumer education.
