Every client story has the potential to create broader change.

ICAN Grow leads ICAN’s systemic consumer advocacy by identifying emerging issues affecting First Nations consumers and working with governments, regulators, industry and community organisations to improve policies, products and services.

Drawing on insights from ICAN’s frontline financial counselling and financial capability programs, we advocate for practical reforms that reduce financial disadvantage and improve consumer protections.

Our systemic consumer advocacy and policy reform work includes:

  • Government submissions and consultation responses
  • Industry engagement and strategic partnerships
  • Campaigning and public awareness
  • Supporting community led advocacy
  • Coalition building across the community sector
  • Amplifying First Nations voices in policy discussions
